Me at my school homecoming. (I was the photographer of course)

As I’m approaching the halfway mark of my second year doing and loving this hobby I partake in, the greatest value of everything that I do is not the final outcome of my edited photos, nor is it the joy I can bring to people when i’ve taken a great photo for them. (However, that’s still a big reason I do what I do!)

It’s the opportunity leading up to these two things. The people you meet and the places you’ll go. That keeps me going, and I thank my lucky stars to all the people I’ve connected with and the various places I've traveled to because of this passion!

Starting out, I stayed in one radius. My school was all I knew about sports and it kept me grounded in the events and various sports I got to witness. Yet, in it’s own way, my ability to branch within my school sports allowed me to meet various student-athletes and faculty that I would’ve otherwise had no meaningful connection with.

I thank my lucky stars to be connected with my school secretary as an Editor-In-Chief and photographer for our Class of 2025 yearbook. She has been more than just an advisor but a mentor through my hardest struggles. Conversely, to all the students I’ve been able to support, I thank you times a million! It’s a true compliment to have my work featured in your socials and it’s amazing I was able to create an impact on your lives, even if it was just a simple moment in time.

There is still so much for me to do in this grand world. To meet like-minded people and see the world in all it's imperfections. Aside from sports do I long to travel further from the Northeast and do a passion project on the people of certain towns or cities. To photograph the struggles, accomplishments, and emotions of everyday life.

But for now, I'm grateful for the places I've been, and I hope you take the time to notice where you are right now. To enjoy and immerse yourself, for it's you who takes up the presence of the scene you're in!
